The word “Viskam” that conjures creativity rooted from a family deep down south in an era when Sri Lanka was striding towards industrialization.

The "Viskam" dream emerged in 1951 when Mr A.A.Piyadasa started a small machine  shop in "Matara" south of Sri Lanka.  

The Company relocated to Colombo in 1967 with a new partnership with Mr. A.A.Karunarathne, brother of Mr. Piyadasa. As a result, two brothers excelled with their in- born talent of technicalities. 

The partnership, then floated to a private company in 1994 in presence of the family’s second generation having stood in its good stead through recent years. Today it is manned by the family’s 3^rd generation who are qualified professionally to charter new vision.

With phases of expansion to its best, backed by systematic work strategies, experienced management, highly skilled work force we are now geared to chart new frontiers in this specialized field meeting the constant changing demand and environment of whoever concern.
